Kim Furtado, N.D. is a naturopathic doctor in Lewes Delaware who specializes in science-based, patient focused, natural medicine. She received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.) degree from BastyrUniversity in Kenmore, Washington. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Biology from GeorgeWashingtonUniversity in Washington, D.C. Dr Furtado has served as Information Specialist at the National Institutes of Health Office of Alternative Medicine in 1994-1995. She has volunteered for Citizens for Clean Power for the past five years, and was one of the founding board members for the Delmarva Community Wellnet Foundation (Wellnet).
Kim's professional and personal life lend creatively to Wellnet's work, including her experience with renewable energy advocacy work, environmental policy community activism, children and education, nutrition, organic gardening and community supported agriculture. She shares her years of experience teaching and advocating sustainable living principles in hopes to administer the mission of Wellnet and its community service programs. |
